Double Seater, Double Feature
In this double feature, we found two amazing videos of couples on tandem bicycles.
The first is a short video, about a couple that has been riding together on their tandem bikes for 60 years! At 86 and 91 years old, they say they’ve “carried on as if we haven’t got old.” Watch their remarkable story and hear about the adventures they’ve had on two wheels, from exploring the world to beating cancer in part thanks to great physical fitness maintained by continuous riding.
The second 20 minute video is perhaps the ambitious “before” to the Cox’s 60 year “after” story. It follows a newlywed couple’s honeymoon in India on a tandem traveling hundreds of miles through literal sickness and health, heat and cold.
