Our Car Replacement Unicorn? Bloom Scooters Overview

Since last year we’ve been looking for an affordable large electric scooter/moped that can be ridden comfortably on city streets with the flow of traffic. Key to this requirement is top speed: a vehicle that can do at least 40-45 mph.

We received no word from major manufacturers when we issued our challenge to them on Twitter last year.

But with Bloom, we may have finally found something that might just be our urban unicorn! We went out to Bloom Scooters’ assembly facilities in Irvine to check out their offering and took it out for a spin.
